“Miracle works” in CISC winter camps

Winter camps this winter were not simply interesting. A real New Year’s miracle was created by the kids and for the kids!
CISC schools in Kyiv and Lviv gathered over 100 participants who started this great winter break together with us!
Each day we learned about the most  amazing Christmas and New Year traditions in other countries, and immersed into the exciting atmosphere of winter holidays. It was really cool, and we are grateful to all the participants!

• The day devoted to New Year and Christmas traditions in Ukraine:

The campers learned more about the customs and traditions of our land at Discovery club classes;
Creative workshop, at which we made a Christmas angel and a spider;
«Christmas tales» – reading in a Christmas hut, with spicy tea and sweets;  і
Evening party at Solokha’s – (games, contests and fun in Ukrainian winter holidays’ style).

• New Year and Christmas traditions in the Southern European countries.

At Discovery club classes the participants learned  so many new and exciting things about winter holiday traditions in the Southern Europe;
Creative workshop «Candleholder in Nativity-play style»;
Engineering project – creating a Christmas tree;
Interactive quest game «Bethana comes at night» with contests, sports and gifts;
Cinema.

• Miracles in Japan

We learned about New Year and Christmas traditions in Japan at Discovery club;
Created winter decorations at our creative workshop;
Conducted exciting research and experiments;
English language class about Japan
Thematic sports game – New YEar competition– games with the shuttlestocks, whip-tops, winter sumo wrestling.

• The day to get aquainted with winter traditions of Norway and Finland.

We learned about winter traditions at Discovery club classes;
Felting workshop (we made Christmas elves and dwarves from wool);
Gingerbread-making workshop;
Robotics – project «Polar express».

• New Year celebrations in England and the USA.

We learned so many new things about winter traditions at Discovery club classes;

Creative workshops (Christmas wreath, Christmas-tree decorations,  Christmas houses);
Amazing experiment “Polar lights in a jar”;
Musical workshop”Сhristmas Sound”;
Final party”Secret Santa”, with lots of fun and presents.
