Teachers’ vacation in Lviv

Just as in Kyiv, Lviv CISC vacation was abundant with new knowledge and methods.

During the school break the teachers passed several educational programs:

Together with Kateryna Iasko at the advanced course of nonforcible communication we developed empathy, trust and respect. We practiced quality communication by listening attentively to each other, paying attention and giving feedback.

“Public speech” by Iryna Snitynska. We learned:

✓how to invite attention to your speech,
✓how to find your own style in order to cause interest and inspire the audience.

We also worked with the voice, the tone, level of expression and engagement with the speech.

At “Data visualization” workshop we created our own presentations, applied new instruments and worked in teams.

At the master class for modern teachers “Specifics of integration of Ukrainian language and literature”  we discused Ukrainian language as a science and the literature as an art.

✓we spoke about wave immersions as a special feature of project education in CISC;
✓oxymorons of interdisciplinary integrationї;
✓we learned 10 new ideas for an integrated lesson (practical part).

After the master class there was a “Sensual performance. Listen – and you will see” (based on Вthe lyrical drama by Lesia Ukrainka “The Possessed”). The participants immersed into this 45-minute act blindfolded. It was something new and unfamiliar. Learning to feel the words by touch…
