«Fairytales for grandma» project

Students of CISC_Lviv third grade  participated in the unique project «Fairytales for grandma». CISC students immersed into the issue of elderly people’s needs and wrote fairytales for them. This project became a part of each participant’s life! Such initiatives help the children develop their empathy and promote better understanding of other people’s needs.

Fairytale therapist Olena Petrushkevych and CISC primary school teacher Ivanna Ryzhak helped bring this project into reality. They read the children’s fairytales to the patients of «Sheptycky Hospital» hospice.

We are grateful to employees of this establishment for supporting our project, and we plan further joint events. The children write fairytales, and now we know for sure that their stories are read!
